 Does Granite countertops poses a health treat to home owners?

According to the Marble Institute of America radom gas in granite countertops are insignificant or too weak to be of any concern.

• Measure your kitchen , bathroom, outdoor , wet bar, etc and have drawings with demensions. 
   
• Get an estimate from a granite fabricator/installer.  Ask Questions:  Tear out of old countertop, seams, under-mount/top-mount sink cut outs, back splash, etc.

• Different colors and grades of granite and marble can vary considerably in price and the same is true between Granite, Marble and Quartz. Also, the design elements and material you select for your backsplash will affect the price.
